Signal and System Approximation from General Measurements

چکیده
In this paper we analyze the behavior of system approximation processes for stable linear time-invariant (LTI) systems and signals in the Paley–Wiener space PW π . We consider approximation processes, where the input signal is not directly used to generate the system output, but instead a sequence of numbers is used that is generated from the input signal by measurement functionals. We consider classical sampling which corresponds to a pointwise evaluation of the signal, as well as several more general measurement functionals. We show that a stable system approximation is not possible for pointwise sampling, because there exist signals and systems such that the approximation process diverges. This remains true even with oversampling. However, if more general measurement functionals are considered, a stable approximation is possible if oversampling is used. Further, we show that without oversampling we have divergence for a large class of practically relevant measurement procedures. High impedance fault detection: Discrete wavelet transform and fuzzy function approximation
This paper presets a method including a combination of the wavelet transform and fuzzy function approximation (FFA) for high impedance fault (HIF) detection in distribution electricity network. Discrete wavelet transform (DWT) has been used in this paper as a tool for signal analysis. With studying different types of mother signals, detail types and feeder signal, the best case is selected. The...
متن کاملSignal detection Using Rational Function Curve Fitting
In this manuscript, we proposed a new scheme in communication signal detection which is respect to the curve shape of received signal and based on the extraction of curve fitting (CF) features. This feature extraction technique is proposed for signal data classification in receiver. The proposed scheme is based on curve fitting and approximation of rational fraction coefficients. For each symbo...

In an axisymmetric CO2-N2-H2O gas dynamic laser, let ? denote the intersection of the vertical plane of symmetry with the upper part of the (supersonic) nozzle. To obtain a maximal small signal gain, some authors have tested several families of curves for ?. To find the most general solution for ?, an application of Pontryagin’s principle led to the conjuncture that the optimal ? must consist o...

Rough approximation operators based on quantale-valued fuzzy generalized neighborhood systems
Let $L$ be an integral and commutative quantale. In this paper, by fuzzifying the notion of generalized neighborhood systems, the notion of $L$-fuzzy generalized neighborhoodsystem is introduced and then a pair of lower and upperapproximation operators based on it are defined and discussed. It is proved that these approximation operators include generalized neighborhood system...
متن کاملEstimation of harmonic interference parameters of surface-NMR signal using an adaptive method and residual signal power
Surface nuclear magnetic resonance (surface-NMR) method is a well-known tool for determining the water-bearing layers and subsurface resistivity structure. Harmonic interference is an inevitable interference in surface-NMR measurements. Accurate estimation of harmonic interference parameters (i.e., fundamental frequency, phase and amplitude) leads to better retrieval of power-line harmonics and...
